SHOOTING SCRIPT & LOCATION RECCE
In this production stage, we will be using a shooting script to carefully plan out what will be shot, where it will be shot and where it will be shot. As we are making a trailer, the shot script will be used during the production of the trailer. I will firstly create a shot list in chronological order in list form. Next, using the location given to us, I will then break up the shot list and match where each shot will be located.

INSPIRATIONS
Inspiration for our overall trailer came from the famous slasher horror film "A Nightmare on Elm Street". We took inspiration from this film due to the fact that we have very similar scenes such as chases and very isolated scenery. In addition, our antagonist targets young people as does Nightmare on Elm Street. Both our trailer films show the antagonist killing characters with iconic weapons.

|
We got inspiration from "Friday the 13th" as they have a scary antagonist who wears a mask and kills off victims and the final girl is usually in trouble at the end and attempts to kill the antagonist. In addition, we used Friday the 13th's antagonist "Jason"'s iconic weapon of the bloody machete.
|
We took further inspiration from "Scream 4" as it relates to our trailer due to the antagonist with a knife/sword and the killing off of young teenagers.
